Emmi wins global climate finance research prize

We’ve been awarded the Best Research Paper in climate finance at the 5th Annual GRASFI - Global Research Alliance for Sustainable Finance and Investment Conference.

Our co-founder Dr Ben McNeil, along with data scientists Adam Kitto & Dr Nic Pittman and colleagues from the Climate and Energy Finance Group at the University of Otago collaborated closely on their winning paper which explores our leading research predicting Scope 3 emissions though machine learning techniques.

The prize was awarded by the Centre for Climate Finance & Investment at Imperial College Business School. A big thank you to our colleagues at Otago - Quyen Nguyen and Dr. Ivan Diaz-Rainey for their tremendous leading work on this research which will play a driving role in Emmi addressing critical scope 3 data gaps for the transition.
