What has changed since last data push:

• Resolved BHP dual listing discrepancy

• Sourced the latest Scope 3 emissions direct from the largest 200 public companies as an additional verification check on the most material emissions estimates.

• Improved use of historical emissions and financial data where available to improve emissions prediction accuracy.

• Minor tweaks in meta-model composition from using 12 to 14 individual machine learning models.

• Retrained Scope 3 models based on reported emissions from 2019 onwards only due to under-reporting in the CDP and sustainability report universe previous to 2019.

• Minor improvements to PCL and reductions calculation methods.

Summary of Differences:

• Improved emissions accuracy by ~2% median absolute percentage error for Scopes 1 and 2 with a small 0.1% improvement in Scope 3.

• Coverage of 48,233 public company Emissions in 2021, 47,633 in 2022 and an update from 69 to 5,460 companies in 2023.
