‘The private equity sector left a three billion tonne carbon footprint’ in 2023 reports FS Sustainability, covering Emmi’s new research into this opaque sector. Emmi estimates that the private equity sector has left three billion tonnes of carbon footprint, but more precise figures are difficult to obtain in the opaque asset class.
